Go big or go home; consider a very large single print for over the sofa; the bottom of the print should be 5-12 inches above the highest part of the back of the sofa and should cover 2/3 the width of the sofa....look at target, home goods, wal mart or amazon on line etc....also world plus stores.....then look at the colors in the art piece, and select the lamp, table and rug colors as well as throw pillows that relate in color but have a lot of pattern...... That is a start.

Houzz has great ideas if you look under a heading like small living room, sofa and chair living room design etc.

Move the seating away from the way about 5" just so it's not jammed up against your walls.

Looked at lots of rugs and just couldn't find the exact right color that is in your patterned fabric. It's kind of a dull, dull teal color and selecting a gray rug didn't do anything for your room so I just inserted a solid color

IMO the beige lamp is not quite bright enough for the room. I placed a canvas on one wall and a twig sculpture on the other wall.

The room could use some drum tables and a floor lamp too

I love the art and other ideas. Do you have links? Thank you!

look for some art that you really like. Etsy has so many artists. do you like bright colors w/floral?

she will do custom, any size

make sure the art suits the size of the sofa.

this is how something should be hung over your sofa. 4-6" above the back, and at least 2/3rd's the size of the sofa. the current one you have is too small and too high

Just to give you an idea, here is mine. I have two large pieces of art in this room

One is a limited photograph, and the other is a signed serigraph. they are collectable art pieces. You can easily do whatever you're in to, as long as the size is suited for the wall/sofa.

(I'm on the lookout for a taller table lamp. the one I have is too short)

you need something similar in size, on both of those large walls in back of your sofas.
