Hi !

I’m in Australia and have been using ducted heating for three months l. I’ve never had it before. All of a sudden I noticed little hair like fibres all around the place. Just on everything! I’d wipe a surface down, there would be a mm thick layer of grey fibre after using heating for 2hrs . It is everywhere. I’ve had aircon people in to investigate.

I’ve been told it’s not a tear in the ducting, although they cannot get into the roof to check as the manhole is so small only a small child would fit ! the ducted aircon is zone controlled. The dust is everywhere even if only one zone is on.

I noticed when I have one zone on, there is a banging noise coming from a drain pipe which must be connected to the main unit. Can’t access it since it’s built into the en-suite main cupboard. The banging stops if theres more than one zone switched on. There’s also no water coming through. I need some help guys. My coughing is terrible etc everything is dusty!
