We are building a new home that is a mix between modern farmhouse and French country farmhouse. We have VERY large dogs (Saint Bernard and Newfoundland) and will always have large dogs. We’d like to install wood throughout (except mudroom and bathrooms). The issue we’ve noticed is that most of the wood floors are somewhat slippery for the dogs. We found one that was heavily wire brushed by Urban Floor—Composer line. Has anyone had similar experience with other engineered wood flooring options that would work?
