Be careful with pink. It can look really bubble gummy :-) I would recommend no matter which one you decide on that you get a large paint chip or test can and try it first so it's not screaming at you.

If its for selling purposes, paint it a neutral colour. Not all buyers have girls.

It's our new home so we won't be selling for a very long time. My daughter loves pink and we promised her that her new room would be pink. Right now in our current home her room is "wispy pink" by Benjamin Moore. It is pretty and very soft but very nursery looking as that is what it was when she was born, id like one that is a good for an older child as I hope this colour will last her for 5 or 10 years.

Bonjour, One of my favorite pink from BM is Sailor's delight (1296). This pink will work for a small child or even a teenager. Accessories will make the difference as she gets older.

Benjamin Moore melted ice cream. But test it out with your room. My decorator recommended it to me for my hallways because its such a creamy soothing color, but was surprised to find out how pink it was in certain halls due to lighting. East facing walls looked absolutely pink pink South walls with little natural light look like cream. Google for images and you'll get a lot of hits. (No I didn't end up using it)

how about a "pink champayne" color? something you can work around now, and later...

My little one got "pretty in pink" very nice.

I loved my pretty pink childhood bedroom. Something about the frilly, fussy priscilla curtains and spreads...

I know it might be a hassle, but please don't paint until you have moved in and thoroughly checked your colour choices in all lights during the day and night. Pinks are very fickle colours, they have many undertones and the wrong lighting can totally ruin the effect you wish to achieve.
