Hmmm all of mine drip into the sink... Try rocky mountain hardware? I seem to recall theirs being longer

I don’t know if that is improper placement of the hole, or if that is a bad dispenser. My soap dispenser extends a good 1/2” or more past the counter edge into the sink. I have a Grohe. I had an Elkay soap dispenser in my last kitchen and it too extended into the sink with no drips on the counter. The soap dispensers’ dimensions are all available online.

Have them come out and re-drill the hole forward a bit. The escutcheon will still cover the elongated hole. The hole can be patched even if it doesn't. The diamonds in the bit will chew right through the sink flange if they hit it.

I've pushed estone faucet holes backwards, it's even more inconspicuous if you pull them forward as you are doing because the pump hides the patch:

I don’t know if the manufacturer might have an extension you can add which slips over the short dispenser tube. It’s either make the tube longer or teach yourself to cup your hand under the soap. If this is dish soap to pump into the sink, I think you ended up with the wrong item. To me, this would only be for hand soap.

You may have to buy a new dispenser with a much longer tube.

This is a problem with the Whitehaven template. Or the Whitehaven flange. I have the same issue with mine. On my prep sink, the same soap dispenser squirts right into the sink, no problem.

Thank you MizLizzie and everyone. Yes, this is for HAND soap. We did look at the Whitehaven template and it said this is as close as it could be drilled. When the fabricator told me, i thought he must be mistaken so I pulled out the template and he was right. I stuck my hand down there and there is about 1/2 or just a tad more than that from the front edge of the hole to where I can feel the sink. I do see that the flange would cover it so may ask him to bring it forward a bit. I glanced through some websites and don't see any with a longer neck.

But you will still need to have enough space between sink and stem of dispenser for the nut that tightens it the countertop.

Or have the countertop fabricator enlarge the sink opening so that you have a positive reveal. Right now you have a negative reveal.

It sounds like we are attempting to fix a problem that doesn't exist yet.

I once had a soap dispenser, but it dripped into the sink which I didn’t like, but then starting clogging due to the super thickness of dish soap. I stopped using mine for that purpose. Perhaps you can have yors removed and capped. Tiny spout and thick soap don’t work.

IMO just one more reason to not have an in counter soap dispenser and I think now you will need to get a different one and I sure would not try drilling a new hole and doing some damage not matter what Joseph says unless he is going to do the work and give you a guarantee

Maybe just search for one with a longer spout even if different manufacturer?

You bought a dispenser with a too-short spout. Proper length was tops on my list when I bought mine (along with good reviews of course). I chose this one - it has a 3.5 inch spout and drips straight into the sink - mine is for dish soap so that was critical for me.. Easy to fill and no mess. I love it.

What is the issue with hand soap drips on quartz? The hands should be under the spout waiting for the soap.

The soap should not be dripping after it comes out of the spout. If any drips get on the counter, wipe it up.

Soap trapped under freestanding bottles/mats can wreak havoc on estone, natural stone, and concrete. Corian is immune.

I’ve had a Danze and a Koehler soap dispenser. Both didn’t drip. I only used liquid dish soap in both. You need one with a longer spout.

Actually not logical at all. Common sense should tell you why the spout should end over the sink.

Mine does the same thing...also have kohler Whitehaven. in my last house I had the hole drilled closer to the edge. It didn’t line up with my faucet exactly but at least I didn’t have this problem.

I forgot to tell the fabricators to move the h ole forward and thought it was my screw up. Didn’t realize it might be a problem with the sink.

mine puts the soap inside the sink as you push down and drips on side of sink as pump goes back up.

ive just gotten into the habit of pumping soap into container or dishcloth vs sink.

BTW..just measured my SD. From the midline of the top to end of spout is 3.5“..like the one above.

so, a longer spout isn’t my solution.. Unfortunately. Unless there is one longer than 3.5”. The hole simply needed to be closer to the edge.

op...measure you sd...It looks shorter than 3.5” . Maybe a longer dispenser spout would at least clear your quartz.

seems to me that a longer nozzle is the best solution. keep your receipt and try a few. some dispensers simply drip more than others. (I have a plain cheap plastic "method" brand soap bottle that doesn't drip at all, wheras the in-sink ones are super expensive. go figure.)

if you water down your soap, stop. thinner makes it drip more too.

finally, consider using clear soap. whether it drips on the counter or into the sink, at least clear won't look so messy.
