Our city requires that a swimming pool gate opens outward, be self-closing and latch on the inside. Our gate is already self closing. We switched the hinges, but I don't know what type latch to get. We currently have a gravity latch. The pin is on the gate and the latch is on the post. Works perfect when the gate opens inward.
