Will these two different woods be ok in same room?

I have one great room our dining and living/tv room. Ordered a round dark brown salvaged wood table and white skirted upholstered chairs To replace large rectangle table. The sideboard is similar color That will go on empty wall shown.

i want to buy a media piece that looks like a built in in this grey wash; both the sideboard and media unit will be along the same wall but have doorway in between the two.

I olan I’m getting rid of the green chairs I have because I think they are too crammed?

would it look ok to put those pieces like that? They are both wood, just different colors. Essentially the lives staying in the space are the bone leather couch and the black piano. Looking at new rug, that can hide things, have dogs and we like to lay on rug.

Not a designer, so hopefully one will jump in with some real expertise, but IMO, you are getting too many rough wood textures. Hard to tell about the colors as the browns might look very different and then you have three colors. Have you seen these pieces in person?

Yes I’ve seen the table and the sideboard together as they were used in staging. The washed grey is a warmer tone

Glad to hear you've seen them. So you will have that brown, the grey and your floor. I wonder how the grey will look with your flooring. Always hard to tell from a photo. And I still wonder about the rough textures on everything. Hopefully someone else will jump in.

Yes I know the floor color is not my favorite but we plan on changing floor or staining it in the next year, so I have to look past it for now. As it is, it’s been a clash with all my furniture sadly.
