There is only so much space and there is existing plumbing that restricts locations. The trade-off has been that to get the additional sink, they have made the closet impossible to use unless you go through the bathroom. Not good.

Obviously someone asked for a double vanity, but in the space this small, I wouldn't even bother because it's still only going to be 60"

I agree, the double vanity doesn’t make sense in a space this small as the bathroom would be too tight with both of them standing at the vanity and The space gained from the closet doesn’t help. Do they need the separate bathroom that’s next door? If they do, maybe make them his and hers bathrooms?

Why not take the closet out altogether? You can have space for linens in the expanded bathroom, room for the sinks. There isn’t much room in that closet so it’s not well used space. Install custom wardrobes in the bedroom. Here are some examples:

The closet is smaller, but it's accessed from the bedroom, and there's minimal wall and plumbing movement. You also get a linen cabinet where the sink used to be. Each square is a foot, by the way ... forgot to draw my scale on.

A reach in closet is better in my opinion since it provide the same amount of storage in less space.
