Also, is there any way to dress a bed without a headboard tp look a little more finished?

My bed doesn't have a headboard, so here's what I do for my queen sized bed (warning, it's very pillow-heavy, requiring a place to store all of the decorative pillows when you actually want to sleep, lol, but it totally works):

1. Fluff up 4 standard sleeping pillows. Stack them in pairs, side by side, positioning just like you'd sleep on them. Fluff them as high as possible.

2. Body pillow goes in front of them, lengthwise at an angle, creating a slope from The Stack to the bed.

3. Grab 2 Euro sized decorative pillows (26x26), placing 1 on top of each Stack. I can achieve an overall height of nearly 5.5 feet from the floor to the top of the Euro pillows with this arrangement.

4. Using 2 standard sized decorative pillows (20x26), place 1 in front of each Euro, on top of the Body pillow.

5. Place a trio of smaller decorative pillows (18x18) in front of the body pillow, to hide it.

6. Grab 1 last standard decorative pillow (20x26) and center it on Trio, pulling up the middle Trio pillow by one-third, so that it peeks up over this last standard pillow.

7. Place 1 small accent lumbar pillow (12x18-ish) in front of everything, centered.

All of my decorative pillows are firm-stuffed, not down/alternative down, so they retain their shape and stand proud. I have received countless compliments on the bed, every time someone sees it (almost always unintentional; the master is off the family room, and sometimes a kiddo will leave the door wide open after exiting the master bathroom).

I started styling the bed this way, because my husband and I couldn't find a headboard we agreed on, and I've been doing it for years now. I'm kinda afraid I did too good of a job making it pretty, lol, since it seems he has far less of an incentive to buy a headboard now. ;-)

I may not need window treatments behind the bed if I use all those pillows, lol! Thank you for the advice. I need to go pillow shopping.
