What arch. style is this 1925 home? Decor direction for interior?

Just bought this 1925 home in Washington state. I'm curious how to describe the architectural style of the exterior of the home. The original fireplace and mantel have been replaced in the front room, and I'd like to redo them but don't know which way to go style wise. The kitchen seems to have been redone in the 1980s with a (Art Deco inspired??) tray ceiling. Any insight you can offer would be a great help!

Many of Frank Lloyd Wright's featured corner windows, which I love.

I think it does have a craftsman bungalow feel to it. I would like to earthy colors on the front, especially the brick. Maybe you can have an artist replicate a dark red and brown brick color on the portion that is brick.

This house was done in a brick color much lighter than I see on your house. Brick painted to look like brick.

Beautiful setting.

I see Craftsman all over it on the outside.... the porches, the roofs, the layering, the details in the walls to either side of the door. I agree that it was meant to have earthy colors with that brick and cedar siding. Such a unique and pretty house.

This looks like a flip where they painted the inside and outside all gray thinking that was an "update". It's a beautiful home that would look so much better with natural colors like creams, beiges, greens, and natural wood.

Thank you for your ideas and kind words, everyone! Some of elements of the home’s exterior like the brick with cross (?) motif flanking the entryway and the corner picture windows threw me somewhat. The fact that original details on the inside of the house have been removed also made me more puzzled.

The exterior seems more Craftsman than anything else to me. I agree that the interior appears to have been rehabbed without regard for the style. If you're in western Washington, there is enough grey weather during the year that I wouldn't choose grey walls. When people talk about "bringing the outdoors in," they don't mean rain and fog.

What a gorgeous home!

A Craftsman Bungalow with 2 front facing gables and 1 side facing gable.

I suggest this design for the fireplace. Holds to the style, yet works in the updated room.

Research the two brothers, Charles Sumner Greene and Henry Mather Greene who designed the bungalow on the West coast in the early 1900’s. My guess is they are the original architects of this style and maybe designed your house. Who knows?

Craftsman/bungalow with Frank Lloyd Wright influence (especially with the very side soffits) and perhaps some Japanese influence. The overall composition has a bit of a pagoda feels. It's a marvelous and quirky house!
