Italian Cypress Help

We planted cypress trees abt 4 years ago. One tree in particular isn't fairing very well. It has been replaced abt 2 years ago by our landscaping company we used. The area does tend to get soggy after we have a lot of rain. However, it doesn't seem to affect the other trees. And it does eventually dry out. We have given it go-go juice and have also added plant spikes to either side of the affected tree. So far it has done nothing to help it. I would like to get this resolved bc it also grows much slower than the others, which then makes me trim any new growth on the healthier trees, to keep them uniform. Can anyone provide any help on what we should do? Thank you so much!

What you actually have is the very frequently planted 'Smaragd' arborvitae (or just perhaps one of the other, less common Thuja occidentalis cultivars - the shearing makes it less easy to tell). Anyway does the water happen to linger longer where the thin looking one is? Did the one it replaced act the same way?

The water lingers in the general area but it really doesn't linger there any more than it does on the ones to the right of it. It sits the most right next to the garden area (it is getting ripped out.) The one that initially was there before this one did, looked the same way. We are really at our wits end with what to do with it. Thank you so much for your comment and any help! I thought it was cypress but I could be wrong as it was planted awhile ago. I did a google search and Emerald Green Thuja comes up under Smaragd, so that really looks like it. I just recently cut the taller ones bc the height difference was becoming so noticable.

the plant is stressed ... fert is NEVER a response ... and that said.. tree spikes are useless ... it would have been just as effective if you sent me the money.. and i prayed for it ...

imo.. same with cosmic marketing goos .... its all marketing mumbo jumbo ... and fro a shiny penny.. i will tell you hopw i really feel.. lol ...

you should replace it again ... it will be a decade before this one recovers and looks like the others.. if in fact.. it doesnt die first ...

what is your native soil.. does it drain ... if so.. the water after a storm is irrelevant ...

you should be able to find fall delivered replacements at big box.. this time of year.. so what if its a couple inches shorter or taller... and.. imo.. stop trimming new growth to make them appear equal ... especially on new transplants ....

do it yourself.. and save money... if you decide to do that.. we can guide you ...

The soil is fine my hubby said. I am wondering what is stressing it bc it's the 2nd tree. The 1st tree looked the same. I don't want it to happen to it's replacement. Thanks for your reply!
