Have you tried dishwashing soap or muriatic acid mixed with water? Even tho you may be able to clean the lime off the bricks it will be back on shortly due to the limestone wall. Limestone will keep leaching out lime onto the bricks. Once you get the bricks clean, you can put a sealer on the bricks to make it easier to clean next time.
