We have a little water coming up the basement drain. (its been a little rainy lately)

- Sewer guy snaked drain and said he ran into stones

- on each side of the drain we had foundation underpinning done 10 years ago

- Sewer guy said foundation people probably just cut off drain pipe

Solutions?

- Sewer guy said to plug drain permanently and pump AC condensation to sanitary line instead of drain

-I'm mainly worried about plugging the drain. (water will find a way) How about a long vertical drain extension tube? (water in the tube should only go as high as the ground water)
