New construction and I can't decide on direction for cabinet color. The space is small 12 by 15 open to a 19 by 12 living room. Kitchen design needs to be an L shape with island. Island will be only seating area. I have chosen a hand scraped dark bamboo floor. I thought dark cabinets would look rich but now I am worried that the space will look smaller. I prefer clean lines. Traditional with a splash of contemporary. Stainless appliances. Looking at white cabinets but I don't want it to look cheap. Any ideas are appreciated. I am on a time crunch!!!!!!
