Since you wet scraped the popcorn ceiling there is less chance of asbestos going into the air depending on how wet you kept it. Popcorn ceilings from in the 1950's to 1978 contained asbestos then was banned. However, leftover products were allowed to be used into the 1980's..

Thanks for responding. It was pretty soggy wet, like sometimes it just fell off. Hopefully that stopped most of the fibers getting loose. We have now hired professionals to help us finish the job and are mailing samples in.
