Hello all,

Our new home (to us) has terrible paneled walls and a half wall ledge in the basement. Currently it's painted a sad beige color all over with a black ledge. There's also a furnace in the corner of the room. We are considering painting the the bottom half a light sage color and the top half/ledge white. Would that look terrible? Any ideas of what to do with this room? We don't have a huge budget so any clever paint/cheap ideas are welcome! The photos with all the decor/furniture is from the previous owners.
