Honeysuckle vine advice

The place I have been growing a pretty honeysuckle (Lonicera Major Wheeler I believe) doesn't seem optimal. It's on a five trellis against a stone house. It just seems to need more room. The most attractiive use of a honeysuckle I've see was cascading DOWN a wall. I don't have that option, but started thinking about others, like a groundcover, or climing some other structure. What are your best examples?

What about an arched arbor? I bought an inexpensive arched arbor from ebay for only 20bucks. They had to be assembled but it wasn't that hard.

I had some of the common and very invasive honeysuckle growing on it, but this summer sadly removed it...I'm getting old and was just overwhelmed with having to prune it constantly!

Here are photos of honey suckle on my arched arbor before it became so aggressive I'd have to prune every other week. (but of course I didn't and it became a massive tangle in one month)

Your honeysuckle is not supposed to be so aggressive as the type that overwhelmed my arch.
