Ikea kitchen delivery issues?

Has anyone ordered an Ikea kitchen in the last couple of months? Have been reading horrible reviews about things not being delivered lately and was wondering if I should just chalk it up and go a different route.

Months of wait time. The production chain of almost everyone has been disrupted. Those relying on overseas components have been affected the most. Many American made companies are back on track.

Some items we ordered at the beginning of this year were discontinued before we were able to receive them, and we only recently got refunds. Austin seems to be doing a little better than Tempe, based on our experiences. I would suggest checking carefully before placing an order anywhere, if you have a time scrunch. Even the wood flooring we ordered is now taking three to four months.

IKEA cabinet boxes are made in the USA.

And agreed with akrogirl, everything is out of whack right now- neighbors are having a harder time finding flooring and lumber for their renovation than their cabinets (which are IKEA but did take a few orders to get everything).

I had a range delivered as scheduled last month.

i ordered my kitchen last week and it‘s set to be delivered on Sept 19th. I had lots of dates to choose from. Things seem to be running normally here other than a few stock issues (Southern Ontario).

Canadian Ikea has been doing alright. I was quoted 6 weeks delivery, and that's what it took for my godmorgon sink. Ordered at the beginning of May.

Now given that delivery of the item usually takes less than a week, times are extremely extended. But the estimate was accurate.

Anyone had any experience with ordering an IKEA kitchen in Florida? I have designs ready but need to do some other remodel work prior to actually giving this the full go ahead.

Are people saying that I now need to plan and order months in advance for IKEA cabinetry just like one needs to do for most kitchen cabinet lines?

Ikea kitchen boxes are made in the US by Sauder woodworking in Ohio. Ikea did close their only plant here in the US in Virginia that produced wooden furniture and storage units. Many of their cabinet doors are made in Europe. Most of the products I use come from Europe also and I've had very little issues with any of my suppliers during this entire time.

Yes, we have ordered a pretty simple kitchen for delivery in Denmark and have to order several times. Some items could not be delivered, unless we tried a week later. Then, other items could not be. Just yesterday, an item came available for delivery, but not click and collect. An hour later, er could choose click and collect. We are receiving a third order today for the same kitchen we first ordered months . Would expect a company like IKEA to have a better grip on logistics and user experience.
