Thanks so much for the feedback. I was able to keep the sink (Elkay). Paint color is Pigeon by Farrow and Ball.

I'd paint white the large, black pendant canopies.

Thanks so much wdcruz. That was the thing I was thinking, although I was thinking of changing to a nickel. I considered painting them white, as well. The canopies, in my opinion, were too stark. Appreciate the feedback!

Sounds like there was water damage. Your new kitchen is fantastic! Congratulations! Love the idea about the pendants. I used rustoleum spray paint to change the finish on a ceiling light and it was quick, easy, and inexpensive! They also have metallic looking paints if you want to try nickel.

It all looks great but yes I am just dazzled by how perfect the cabinet color is. Not usually a green or gray fan, but that color is just perfect!

Thank you, Salonva...I was really pleased with the paint, too. I thought it would look more rustic, but the finish turned out very smooth. My painter was really good, and was even able to work with my less-than-perfect priming job. Barbara, thanks for the tip. I will pick up that paint this weekend and give it a try. We did have a lot of water damage, and tried to refinish a door but it looked too different. I loved the wood, and still do, but it's the way it is.

Here’s another tip... if you don’t know how/don’t want to take the fixtures down, you can spray the rustoleum into a Tupperware and use a paint brush to paint the fixture. Just make sure you have good ventilation. It’ll be better if you can take them down but I’ve done it both ways.

Wow! Stunning!! You’re very talented. Do you have a picture of what the electrical boxes moved below the cabinets look like now? I have been wanting the look of uninterrupted tile and had no idea how to accomplish it. I’d like to show that to our electrician and see if it will meet code.
