Design Dilemma DIY Kitchens

Cheap/Easy backsplash...

I need out of the box ideas for a backsplash. Initially we were going to do plexiglass/acrylic and paint the back. I really like the look of this but Plexiglass is a lot more expensive than we were initially thinking (probably due to demand because of the pandemic) . We have to have something other than paint because our walls are not awesome and we don't want to resheetrock....
The style of the room is farmhouse...

Tin ceiling tile would be a relatively easy DIY and would suit farmhouse style. You can paint them any color you want.

Removable wallpaper....just do a search, hundreds of styles.

Beadboard. Doesn’t cost a lot and is a classic farmhouse look that never goes out of style. You can buy it by the 4x8 sheet and is easy to install. Paint it whatever colour you want.
