Help! I need to make a decision for floor stain

Hi, I have found a milk that will be pre finishing white oak hardwood plank floors.
I have finalized my decision between two, weathered oak or 1 part weathered oak and 2 parts white. I like both for various reasons and as I move samples around in my house it’s a one or the other looks best in different lighting and different rooms. So I’m thinking about doing the floors somewhere in the middle as a compromise. I would like to see pictures of a half and half combination if anyone out there has done that. I’m running out of time and don’t want to delay by requesting more samples.

Your finisher should be able to provide you with samples. Others floor will not give you the proper info as top coat makes a huge difference. You are investing a lot of money in these floors take you time and have you flooring pro make samples on YOUR floor and include a top coat of what you plan to use on the samples. Only way you can be sure,

That’s what we’ve been doing so far. I realize it does make a difference, thank you for your input, I really appreciate it. I think I’m just getting cold feet about committing to one or the other and want some sort to proceed with one or the other. (Or smack dab in between the two). Hahaha

Just to be clear, have you colour swatches INCLUDED a coat of the finish? And are the wood floors been installed? Are they raw? Do you have photos?

Which finish are you going with? Water based? Oil Modified? Oil based? If the colours do NOT have a coat of finish over them, you are in for a BIG surprise....and not the good kind. The finish can change the white dramatically - or it does nothing. But you won't know that until you see the colour swatches with a coat of finish over top.
