I'm sure your plants appreciated it. Bad air is expected here in LA area through Wed. or Thurs. It's miserable. Hope your area clears up soon. It's grey here, sunlight looks odd, like an eclipse.

Are N95's available anywhere? I went to Home Depot for an air purifier today (none available) and looked for N95's (also not available).

I have a few N95's from some time ago. I have 2 air purifiers, but could use a third bigger one, but I imagine they are as rare as freezers. Our Creek Fire is now only 6% contained and still advancing. I don't think our air will be clear anytime soon.

I didn't spray anything off today but probably will again tomorrow. Everything is just coated with ash.

I got a purifier from Amazon, coming today. Maybe should have gotten 2. I avoid going outside unless necessary, poor dog doesn't understand. I did see people walking their dog, but it's not worth it. "Our" fire the Bobcat is also at 6%. They are predicting better air later next week. I guess we should count our blessings. Oregon is in a very bad way.

This morning I washed off the outdoor AC units, What a muddy mess!

Then I cut back the giant Datura that has taken over the potting bench. Maybe tomorrow I’ll tackle the mint. Turn your back for a week or two on those two and they will take over the yard. Lots of open seed balls on the Datura. Or well. next year I’ll be pulling baby Datura. Now, if I could just get rid of the Bind Weed……

We're about 18 miles east of Pasadena. Pretty bad here, too. I also hosed off plants yesterday. One thing I always notice with ashes from fires is how much more noticeable all the spider webs are. I'm guessing swimming pools must be kind of a mess. We don't have one but the majority of our neighbors do.

I am in Wisconsin and was just crying over the news about the fire. We have had 5 days with lots of on and off rain.......wish we could have given one to you in CA. But unfortunately it’s not that easy is it? I pray the winds die down and the firefighters are able to make headway. I think most of the country is Horrified and is praying for you. 🙏🏽
