Inside Out Performance Fabrics

We need to order a new sectional; and I've pretty much decided upon a configuration from Century Furniture's cornerstone line. Initially was planning on using crypton fabric, but from all the research I've done, I would really like to use Inside Out fabric. It needs to be in the white/cream family per the hubby's only requirement. I'm fully aware of the dye transfer being an issue no matter what type of fabric I use. Has anyone used Inside Out fabrics or more familiar with them? Thanks!!

Yes, I am a dealer for Century and have used INSIDE/OUT on several projects, no reason to not use it, it will work well for you. I do not see any advantage over Crypton brand fabrics that come through the store, however.

Can I ask why you decided against Crypton? Are the inside out fabrics soft?

Yes, the inside out fabrics that I've found have been very soft!! We live in S. Florida so they need to be ultra soft when sitting all the time in shorts! I've researched over and over; even watched several independent stain tests and the performance of Inside Out appeared to be far superior to Crypton for cleanability. It can actually be cleaned with a bleach solution!!

I see that Ballard carries Inside Out fabric. Going to follow your thread. Interested to see if anyone else has experience.

Actually a lot of different fabric companies are now carrying it; it's made by Valdese weavers (who actually makes Crypton home as well)......forget where I saw it, but someone had mentioned that it's like "Crypton and Sunbrella had a baby!!"

No, we ended up with Crypton; I still really wanted Inside Out, but for our personal requirements the particular Crypton fabric we chose just matched our decor better. Unfortunately my choices were very limited (color and texture wise) from Century.

Made a claim on rolla lace inside out fabric for pilling and fuzzing. Taylor king custom sectional. I will update but it hasn’t held up to claims at 13 months.
