Are you doing farmhouse glam or modern contemporary? This would help me make a better suggestion for you. I see countless ideas, narrowing down to one is definitely the hard part. The space is dark so I would lighten things up with a rug and either light wood, white painted wood or even glass style dining table. ;)

Dining room furniture is a big ticket item. You'll own them a lot longer than the wallpaper and the chandelier so I wouldn't try to match those. Instead buy what you love and then decorate based on the furniture. Also, you already have high back upholstered chairs in you kitchen so if this was my house, I'd go for a different look. Maybe a wood open back with an upholstered seat.

I love farmhouse tables (Restoration Hardware my favorite). But want a timeless table something I won’t get sick of. So don’t want to go to modern. But want some glam too. My kitchen table is dark wood with white leather chairs and nail heads. I was thinking a large cream rug. Just not sure what to do for table. This is why I only have chandelier and empty DR for 2 years 😢. I can’t decide. And need to make a decision to complete this room. So any ideas would be great!

IMO the table is fun but the chairs and bench are not. You could go a bigger table for sure , you need a buffet and IMO that light fixture in no way works it is too heavy looking, is hung too high and IMO you could do a lot better . If you like the look of a mix of very tradirional and modern I would look for a table very similar but bugger and then do ghost chairs with it is great look. Certainly no farmhouse here.This is kind of what I am thinking

Patricia Colwell consulting’s the table in my DR now is my old kitchen table. I’m not keeping it. Just thrown in their for now. Wanted to get a new DR table n chairs. Just lost what to get. Want something I won’t get sick of. And that looks really nice too. I love RH. It’s hard not many furniture stores around anymore. Let me know if u have ideas
