Hi all,
I’m hoping to get some advice on my basement/family room. I have a split level house and the ceiling is textured but I am having the texture smoothed out, 6 recessed lights added, and the walls painted SW Agreeable Gray. In the corner the ceiling slopes down and there is also a ledge where the ceiling comes down (I guess this is where my upstairs hallway is). My question is, do you think the ceiling will look higher if I paint the areas that are further down the same color as the wall? so you get a full design look, I included a picture of the carpet that will be installed and the color of the sectional couch.
I am planning to keep the bright turquoise color.
