I have a Fiddle leaf fig i got a few weeks ago and it seems to be doing well, putting out new growth and not showing any real signs of relocation stress until some spots showed up on 2 leaves and slowly got bigger. I decided to check the roots and noticed it was a little icky at the bottom.I was plannong on cutting between the 2 trunks, and putting compost in the trench so i could separate it in 6 weeks, but now it seems it may need a repotting.The trees look overall healthy, so should I let it dry out and proceed with the separation preparation in a few weeks, or should i gently seperate them durring a repotting?
