Attic Ventilation Question

My apology If this isn't the right place. This does have to do with attic ventilation.

I have a covered porch area around close to 100 sq feet(under the house's roof) that i'm converting into a room. I have windows installed on the two sides of the opening.

On the ceiling of the room, I put in 2 layer of insulation, the top one perpendicular to the bottom one. In the attic above the insulation, I spray foam the 3 walls (see picture).

The only ventilation in the attic is through the soffit and the top of the roof where the 2 slopes of the roof meet. I do have attic fan, but it was on the other side of the wall.

My question is:
Should I be worried with ventilation in the attic area above this room? If I should, what could be the solution?

If you have two layers of insulation, the first layer needs the moisture barrier (paper) facing down towards the conditioned room. The second layer cannot have a moisture barrier. If it does you could trap moisture over time and ruin the insulation.

If you have soffit openings then you need to pull the insulation black so the sir flow is not blocked. There is debate whether it attic fan helps or hurts the ventilation given you have a ridge vent.

The principle is convection. Hot air rises through the ridge vent and draws from the soffit vent. If concerned, you could open the walls between the separated attics.

What a load of rubbish! As per the above comment, if you have a roof vent and soffit vents, you'll be fine. That's what most houses have.
