39F temps tonight. Should I water?

Hello all! Im using my day off to build a raised bed & will be planting shrubs. Also, bulbs in another raised bed. Temps are 65F now but will drop to 39F tonight & hover around 40-42F until Tuesday. night. If I plant today, should I water today or wait to water until overnight temps are back up into 50‘s-60’s midweek? Or should I build beds & not plant anything at all until midweek & just leave plants in their nursery pots, close to house for warmth? Thanks in advance.

Bulbs won’t care either way.

If the shrubs have been growing outdoors rather than in a protected environment go ahead and plant them and water them. (Always water well after planting unless the soil is already sodden.) If they’ve come out of a greenhouse you'll need to harden them off before planting.
