Is the bed actually hanging from the ceiling or its is visual effects? Like a pedestal underneath the bed

    It's actually hanging. The contractor anchored into the concrete for me, and I showed up with the bed for installation.

    You can probably DIY something similar using a pedestal. Only way I can do something like this in an apartment.
