Another T, occidentalis to try, that is readily available, is 'Linesville', also known as 'Bobazam' or Mr. Bowling Ball. Can be sheared, but is a very pleasing globe shape if left alone.

@alley_cat_gw_7b Any idea what that plant in front of the bowling ball is? I like the colors in it, looks like it varies a bit.

Last question, anyone know if any of these, or any others, might be good for 3-4 ft wide/tall range? Looking to create a bed of smaller sizes like the Picea Glauca Alberta Globe and Tiny Tim, with some larger types.

many times, the nurseries fertilize & prune those to death to sell cute plants , and you end up with a plant that grows 8 in. a year
