New Entry Door Question

We are replacing our front entry door and exterior wall sconce, and unsure of what type of glass finish to coordinate if we leave the panel of rectangular glass (which I believe is hammered glass?) that is original to the home. I am thinking the wall sconce and front door should be clear glass so it doesn't compete, but that means we would not have as large of panels in our front door for privacy. We live in Seattle so the more natural light we can get the better. We found a door with large rectangular flemish glass we liked, but worried it would not pair well. And we haven't been able to find a door with hammered glass. We like the Craftsman style stained wood doors. Thanks for your help!

How about a picture of the front door? Or is that it in the far right. I looks like your house has a modern or MCM feel to it with a bit of traditional thrown in in the railings.

How about leaving the door but taking out the window ..and adding a dramatic horizontal chandelier covering staircase and entrance ...and hanging a large painting where the window is now .

Your house does not appear to be a craftsman so I need to see the house before even guessing about a door. I would also look at getting a new light fixture for that stairwell.

Oh yes, that would be helpful! Here is a picture of the front of the house. We plan to replace the entry light, railing, and stone down the road. We are thinking of keeping the rectangular panel. Thanks!
