Wouldn't a regular faucet run while you take the time to turn on and off? I had a Moen touchless faucet and loved it. Nothing better than to put your hands under the faucet when they are full of dough or you've been working with chicken and have instant water.

I just installed a Kohler touchless and for a week's use opinion they use just a tad more water only because it takes a moment for the hand wave on/off. It's pretty negligible and for me the convenience outweighs the minimal potential extra water. And perhaps it's just me getting used to it. Love the touchless.

Your question isn't fair - it says 'hogs' then asks a 'tad' more. Maybe a tad, definitely not a hog.

The benefits are the key selling points for me. Turning water on and off without having to touch a handle. I don’t have to touch a handle after touching meats to clean up. How many people do this and forget to clean the handle. I have a Koehler touch-less and it is worth it.

We had one in our previous home and it was a battery hog.

I've had our Delta Touch2o for at least 10 years. We love it. i only change the batteries about every 2 years. it does not appear to be a water hog because as soon as your done washing what ever, use your elbow or wrist to touch it.
