Art and Framing

Hello, I have a set of 4 botanical prints purchased at a small shop in the Paris Flea market - in the 90s. They were matted and framed in the US and I used them in my traditional living room for many years.

Then I moved and re-painted with a spicy color pallet of paprika, turq and beiges in a boho theme, and even then, I thought they were still kind of dated looking, so I only hung up two.

Now I'm re-decorating again, and moving away from the spicy colors to a more subtle gray and charcoal pallet. Still love the classic bamboo frames, but not sure how these will play with the coolor gray tones.

I think these can work, just not sure where to start; Paint the frame? What color? Use different frame - what does that look like and what color? Hate to give them up bc they have sentimental value and they are really pretty. Ultimately if not in the living room, maybe they can find a place in the hall or entry way.

Always look forward to everyone's feedback. Thank you.
