I received Andersen 400 windows that we ordered from Home Depot (after being told by Andersen to order through them & assuring us they're the same quality as from another rep).

They came in looking like trash with abysmal quality control.

I have been bounced around for 8 days between HD & Andersen to no resolution - both sides say they're "looking into it". I have over 100 photos between the 5 windows of the terrible finishing that's on them. Below are just a few...

Unfortunately, I have been bounced around between Home Depot and Andersen with absolutely no resolution so far. Andersen did reach out to me via reddit (made a post in the beginning asking if anyone else had this issue & what to do) but that was what I believe a PR stunt - they have not answered further messages from me nor has it gotten me anywhere.

HD says we have to wait for an Andersen Rep to respond to them and schedule coming out to our house to see the windows - We absolutely don't want them as they're garbage & just wish they'd take them away. Our money is tied up now in this Trash product and we cannot purchase new windows from somewhere else (HD takes all money UPFRONT for the order).

I've gotten in contact with a few Andersen reps and emailed them photos and thought I was getting somewhere but then they stop responding or transfer me somewhere else.

The wood on the Andersen 400s is abysmal quality as well - it dents when even picking it up or moving it - it's almost like it's made out of clay. EXTREMELY soft wood.

I was assured by Andersen that they provide the same quality of windows to HD as they do to other sales reps - so that the issue is not HD in quality.

TLDR WARNING: DO NOT EVER ORDER from ANDERSEN. They use garbage materials & are impossible to reach to resolve any issues.
