1952 home, kitchen last renovated I would said in the 90s. Small and odd layout because of house age. I want to remove granite and replace with white quartz/light gray veining. Instead of new cabinets we are having them refinished - painted white and remove all extra decorative accents. Having them cut the range so its higher and putting reclaimed wood paneling on it. I am thinking of using Montauk 4x4 tiles in Gin (white matte, slight sheen). What do you all think? Do we need an accent tile over the stove (new stove too) or is that too much? Second pic is more like I want.
