Robotic Vacuums

Looking for recommendations on a robotic vacuum like Roomba or other brands that work on Mohawk Smart strand carpet. I’ve read about some robotic vacuums ruining some people’s carpet.
I have tile floor and carpet in living room. I just got a white lab and have a shepherd mix and want to keep up on the fur.

There have been several posts about robotic vacuums. Here are the results I found.

Personally, I've used them for years and prefer the Roomba. I'm not convinced that the rubber rollers on the newer Roomba do as good a job as the brush rollers on carpet. I tend to use my older Roomba (brush rollers) on the carpet, but it doesn't have the suction power of the newer Roomba.

at one time i had 4 great danes and my roomba was a Godsend! even though i'm down to just 2 danes, i use it frequently.
