I'm looking for advice on what primer I should use for my already painted cabinets. I picked up SW muli-purpose latex primer per the rep at SW. But the more I'm researching I'm not sure if it'll be good. I have very old cabinets that were previously painted and are chipping. On the sides. I don't plan on stripping them but I do have them cleaned and sanded down pretty well. I got Emerald Urethane and proclassic for my paints. I know my cabinets aren't going to look professional because they are so old I'm just hoping they will look better than what they do.
