We purchased a house full of wall paper and low ceilings on the 2nd floor. (furniture not ours)

We want to turn this into a kids room with light pink walls (think Scandi style). Should I 1) paint the whole room light pink? (including ceilings), 2) should I follow what the wall paper is doing. 3) just paint the wall on the left in a darker pink as an accent wall? Would be great if you can help!
