I would like to see some more color in the room. What are the adjacent areas? Maybe choose a large colorful rug and hang long drapes in one of the more muted colors from the rug and throw pillows in one of the more dominant colors.

The picture with the of sofa is not my house. Please see pictures of sectional I just purchased which is huge and the empty house. Any decorating ideas is greatly appreciated.

Since the area assigned for your kitchen table is much larger than the area for your living room, have you given any thought to switching the two functions???

the chaise is not showing in my picture because I am waiting on a replacement.

Beverly, I have the measurements now: Wall where my TV currently is 9ft, living room wall with windows 13ft, short wall by door 8ft.

Dining Room Wall 14ft, Patio door wall 12ft.
