Ordered from corbeil in ottawa july 2021. Called to schedule delivery late last week and delivered this morning. I think this may be the first delivery confirmation of double oven black induction that ive seen on this board. Apparently the store was able to fulfill all their orders for this particular model

I was told this weekend that the stainless, double oven, induction range that I ordered in January of 2021 would be delivered to the store‘s warehouse on the next truck coming from the manufacturer. Fingers crossed!!! BTW I live in Tennessee.

Hello all. I ordered the Cafe matte black induction double oven in August 2021. My story is much the same as you all. Multiple prospective delivery dates, but finally received it Nov 22 2022. So happy I waited. Those of you who are still waiting, they are definitely shipping, so just hang on a bit longer. Must admit that I was on the verge of cancelling earlier this month, but decided to wait and 20 days later, it's in my kitchen! Live in upstate NY.

It is pleasing to see the comments that finally people have received their range after such a long wait. Ordered ours Feb 2021, got it Oct 3 2022; SS Double oven induction. We love the WI-FI features of all 3 appliances. Once we stepped out for a quick errand and we had something in the oven for dinner. We got delayed, so we were able to turn the oven off remotely. Once we knew that we would be on our way back home, we turned it back on and our dinner was ready on time. Fantastic!

For those with an induction cooktop, do you find it loud? I have All-Clad pots and pans, but the buzzing is very loud. It can be heard quite a distance away in the next room. It’s very slightly quieter at lower temps but can be heard at all temps.

We have used ours for over 1 1/2 month and we can hear a bit of a humming noise when it starts heating but when it hits cruising speed we barely hear it. We had a single spot portable cooktop before and that was much louder.

Is anyone else still waiting for rebates from Cafe Appliances? We received our stainless steel double oven induction range in June 2022. I shared the story about the arduous journey earlier in this forum . Because of the long wait, we missed the opportunity for the 2021 rebate of a cookware set. The 2022 rebate is for a Hestan Cue Smart Pan. I submitted the rebate claim in June, just a day after the installation. The online status has been received. I’ve called multiple times and keep getting assured that it will be sent as soon as stock is available. I am so frustrated for yet another long wait. On a happy note, we’ve recently received our Cafe Stainless Steel dishwasher CDT875P2NS1. It is so quiet you barely know that it is running, has a nice layout with 3 trays, and cleans and dries well. Very happy with these Cafe appliances but not with the waiting.

Just thought I would let everybody know that we received our induction double oven in stainless steel on November 29. We ordered it in March of 2022. We live in the Seattle area.

I have been told that my ss double oven induction stove is in. supposed to be delivered Wednesday. Ordered January 2021.

FINALLY! After 23 months my double oven, ss, induction range was delivered today!

My single ss induction range is being delivered in January 2023! Ordered in Feb 2022.

After waiting since May 2021 ...FINALLY our GE Cafe White Matte range arrived this past week and was installed yesterday!! Can hardly believe it!!

So frustrating, ordered everything in first week if jan 22, all came in except double oven induction ss range. frustrating! date just keeps getting pushed out. and theyve got you trapped because all the other matching pieces are in so you cant even jump ship and go elsewhere!! stuck with our newly renovated kitchen and old black stove

Our matte white induction single oven range was just was delivered after a 2 year and 2 month wait. GE had our money the whole time.

We took delivery of our matte white single oven induction range on Friday 12/23/22 after waiting for 20 months. Don’t give up hope!

Is anyone having trouble with their fridge denting? Other spots I might think kids or bumped bit it's behind the handle for the freezer. Small dents. Thanks.

Well looks like the ss induction single range is now “delayed “. So got my first delay notice!!! Wooo hooo!!! How many more to go? Luckily reno is starting until Fall 23’.

Has anyone ordered their Cafe induction oven from Appliances Connection? If so how long did it take to get it?

Ryan - Thanks for letting me know. I ordered mine 14 months ago. I got everything except the induction range. I haven’t had much luck with a delivery date. Yesterday they told me mid - March. I’m stuck on what to do. I don’t want to cancel and go to the bottom of the line on someone else’s list.

I also ordered from Appliance and connection in 05/2022, so far no news on when will be delivered despite many calls. Painful waiting…

I just got word that my matte white double oven induction range is on it’s way. I ordered it in 11/2021.

Was able to pick up the 36" counter depth matte white Cafe fridge with the internal water dispenser. Seems to be in stock everywhere in the NY area (Costco, AJMadison, Appliances Connection, etc)

My SS 30" Single Induction oven is FINALLY being delivered as of this morning.

We got very last minute notification of delivery.

What are the quick things I need to inspect / flag when it comes in.

Also what testing should i do in the 1st 24 hours of getting this?

I'm nervous as I hear a lot of issues with poor quality control on the GE Cafes of late. So will be eagle-eyed! Thank you everyone!

Check your touchpad as my daughter’s Cafe dual fuel double oven did not work for the oven controls. Timer/LIght/Settings worked. She can bake using the app with remote enabled. Took a week+ to get a repair appointment and was told 2 weeks for the part.

Her ovens had an odor and some smoke with first bake. She did a one hour bake at 450 to burn this off and that seemed to take care of it. Per GE user manual (on line only) that is normal and will dissipate over time but I’d do a burn off bake.

Make sure the convection fan and vent fan do not make excessive noise. Make sure all your hobs work and try boiling water on each particularly where you have boost to ensure that feature works.

To Colm - after the installation of our ss double induction range, I realized a rear trim piece was missing. Called GE for service appointment and made it clear that the piece was missing. Tech showed up without the part. Scheduled another appointment and they had the part shipped directly to me in advance. Tech showed up, opened the undamaged box, and found it was badly damaged. Can’t imagine why anyone would have packed it that way. He said he would order another one and come back again, but after he moved the power cord the gap behind the range disappeared so the trim piece was no longer needed. They have a fit guarantee but this was a happy ending. Love the range

Hi everyone - thank you and we've had the GE Cafe Induction Oven for 1.5 weeks so far. I've been running it thorugh the paces and it's been great with no issues. I wanted to ask though is the GE trim kit worth it to close the gap if installed on countertop? Are there any other aftermarket trim kits that work better? Thanks for all giving feedback! Cheers

Unrelated, but for those with a cafe oven. It comes with a sabbath mode that turns the control screen unresponsive and displays no information. The oven will remain in this mode until you deactivate. Unplugging from the wall will not resolve.

Was without my oven for 3 weeks after toddler triggered sabbath mode and wasntwasn't immediately obvious to me or the tech!

I also submitted my rebate form July 2022 and still no pan. Was told end of January they were expected to ship no later than the end of February. Well end of April still no pan!

I guess they are as rare as the Cafe induction ranges. I do love the range- well worth the wait. The camera mode on the app doesn't work but it's not a game changer for me.

@Patricia jann Amazing how long these things take! I didn’t realize there is a camera mode in the app. I can find any documentation on it. How do you get to the feature?

not all models have the function. My model is CHS90XP2MS1- stainless single oven induction. you need to download the SmartHQ app and the camera function is in the app.

I got my pan in March. I submitted my rebate in January ‘23. I also got pots and pans a few weeks later which I wasn’t expecting. It was a nice surprise.

Ordered my appliances from a local store in March 2023 and they were finally delivered today!!  Apparently the fridge side panels was holding up delivery a *little* bit.

4 week delivery for cafe appliances range, range hood, refrigerator, microwave drawer, dishwasher. No panels. Ordered mid-May 2023. Now waiting for new cabinets for my summer kitchen remodel.

I’m very interested in the cafe appliances too and trying to decide how early i need to get on the wait list. Naive question but do the side panels come assembled or can they be put on at a later date if wait times for them are long?

The side panels are optional. we ordered ours when we ordered all appliances: The delivery people installed all appliances for us.

You are a lucky one; I have been waiting over a year for my smart pan and still nothing. The communication with them is also tedious. Enjoy the extra set as well. As I understand it, it was the last rebate but no longer available and now just have to wait for the Heston Smart (stupid!) pan :}
