Seed saving kong coleus question

Hi have collected seed from my Kong coleus this year. I have been trying to find figure out what will I will get next spring from these seeds. I understand so far from what I have read that coleus do not come true to the parent plant. But does that mean I will get different colours but the similar size leaves. Or will it be a free fer all and get different size leaves colours, and plant. Only have the one coleus in my yard does that matter at all? thanks for any help

There's no way to predict. It will be a fun surprise.

when i wanted to save them ... i rooted small sprigs.. its rather fast and easy ... and i grew them indoors as houseplants ..

and about every other month or so.. they got real ugly.. because.. well .. they arent houseplants ... [i think it was the furnace in my MI.. and the rather low humidity...] .. i would root a new piece ... and then threw out the ugly old ...

and then just before spring.. i rooted a few of each ... so they would be ready to go outside in late spring.. after all chance of frost was gone ...

it worked ok .. did i ever do it again ... lol .. no ... life got in the way... and i didnt have the time to fool around with them ... it was a nice winter hobby for that one winter ...
