Deck Skirting Installation

How would you go about skirting this deck with vinyl lattice? Trying to figure out the best way to attach. Assuming I don't install it indented/underneath the deck where the posts are, but then what do I attach it to if I want it flush with the fascia board?

You will have to build a pressure treated frame to support the vinyl lattice- it has no structural integrity. A 2x4 frame no more than 24” on center.

I would do horizontal or vertical slats.

Please reconsider the vinyl lattice. IMO it detracts from the appearance of the house. There are so many other options.

If I switched to horizontal slats - what material is recommended? Still not sure how I would install them. I guess easiest option would be to attach them to the posts, but then my skirting is under the deck vs. flush with the edge.

It's the diagonal vinyl that I don't like. This stuff from HD is great.

Behind, not flush, to the facia please. Make sure the lattice "floats".
