can you take a pic of the center part of the plant. Are these branches connected to anything like a caudex or if you were the pull the branches out would they have roots?

Looks like rhipsalis to me. Although I'm not sure of the variety. Possibly paradoxa.

Not a Rhipsalis or even a cactus.

I have a question if you don’t mind. When you cut the long branches does it bleed a white sap?

Kara, you suspect an Euphorbia?

Kara, I broke off the tip of one of the long branches and there was no white sap. I have a pencil cactus and know what that sap looks like (and to clean my hands if any of it touches me). I also looked at lots of pictures of rhipsalis, not sure it's that, either. The stem is one long piece, not segmented. So I'm still stumped and hoping someone will figure it out...and advise on whether to prune or leave it alone and see what happens.

I did think it was a Euphorbia, but no sap so back to the drawing board. It may take some time to figure it out, but I will keep my eye out. I‘m always looking at succulent pics🙂.

Could it be a very elongated Huernia. Grown indoors for 12 years could produce such long stem searching for more light. Like Huernia schneideriana
