Hello,

I'd recently purchased a home in another state. I want to update the kitchen when I move there in a few months. I am uncertain of the counter-top color (color-challenged) and I wish to properly coordinate back-splash tiling and flooring with both the walls and counter-top colors.

I've attached 2 images: the first is the kitchen in current state. The second image is a crude mock-up including new appliances I've selected, back-splash tiling and flooring.

As I'm "color-challenged" I used the eye dropped tool in Photoshop to get hexadecimal values and using them I've acquired some respective color names/hues. From what I can see and the color values indicate, the tops are grey or blue-grey. As such, I thought steel blue back-splash tile would work and a light grey floor would as well.

Could someone please assist me with: A: the counter-top color B: am I going in the right direction with the back-splash and flooring color choices?
