    Greek valerian aka Jupiter's beard, Centranthus ruber. It's invasively weedy in California and parts of the Pac NW but here in the arid mountain west it only seeds around in irrigated areas, not with natural rainfall. Blooms for three months or more, attracts swallowtail butterflies. Comes in a white flowered form as well. Good dry shade plant too.
