Removed a never used hot tub and looking for idea of how to use its shed/cover. The space started as a metal storage shed with concrete slab 9.5 x 15.5. Metal building sat on approx a 12 inch "foundation". Removed the building and first surrounded it with privacy fencing with boards attached on both sides. Later had a metal roof placed over the tub and knocked down part of wall to add a 8x8 deck, also privacy fenced. Tub fell in ill repair and recently had it removed. Got an estimate of $400 to tear down deck, $1300 to turn back into a storage shed by enclosing in T-111 and adding door, then $400 to stain. If I want to add a covered "porch" where deck was, dig out and put in a layer of gravel another $1150. Bringing total to $3350 for 9 x 15 storage building and place to park mower and other lawn equipment. It is close to the house and could not build new due to zoning. Have a 20 X 20 deck attached, so looking for other ideas for using this space.
