the tile is a pale grayish blue. It's a nice tile however I'd nix the AQUA [?] island. In truth your cabinets are really classic and much to love there . I think you would find the light counter option with a more basic white family of tile backsplash to be a great highlight for the cabinetry.. Hardware yes....new textiles..yes. Maybe wait on the island painting color choice. Counters and backsplash is a big project. . In your kitchen if you did not paint the island you could alternatively have a different counter top for the island.

I like the backsplash tile, just not sure if it would look great with all the other elements. I think it’s hard to choose all these elements at once and if you can, you should install the counters first and then test different backsplash tiles in position. Sample paints after everything is installed so you’re getting a true feel for the paint colour in your room

Well, my inspiration is this and while not a popular choice, I love it. I do love navy also, but that’s not going to lighten anything.

Ok that’s helpful. I couldn’t picture it all. I like your tile much better, I think you should consider another pattern other than the brick style layout. Maybe stacked? Regarding island I would pull a colour from the granite and make the backsplash be the splash of colour by itself.

I love your kitchen now! But....the aqua will look pretty with the brown. Maybe change the valances to bamboo shades.

Stacked is too contemporary for me, I think I’ll stick with staggered. Still looking for wall color suggestions.

confirm that these blue tiles are you backsplash tiles?? if so, the SW color you're picking has too much green in it.

What do you think about any of these? the bottom two lean more green/blue, and the top colors more blue/gry

Lol, Beth i have all of those samples chips! We're pretty much committed to Sherwin-Williams as they're local and used to be a client of my husband's. We're leaving the perimeter as lightly stained cherry , only painting the island.

I was just questioning the color aquaverde along w/your backsplash tile. just seemed to be the wrong shade

I'd look at SW Rain or Moody blue
