My bathroom sink cabinet was built 24" wide by 22" deep. The guy knew my drop in oval sink cutout was 19" x 16".

How much counter space needs to be on the left and right of the oval sink?

How much counter space needs to be in front of the bowl?

We are using one handled faucets. How much counter space needs to be at the back of the sink?

Or should the sink be centered left to right, and front to back in the cabinet? Centered to the wall?

A 24" x 22" cabinet does not leave much counter space. I know free standing sinks don't have any counter space. We do have about 26" on the left side of the sink (blind corner cabinet), but not on the right side. I think there will be about 5" on the right side if I include the countertop overhang.

With the drop in sink being larger than the actual cut out, the rim will be 20.25" wide by 17.5" deep.
