Was using vinegar/water dilution on the old counter, but that's out due to acidity. I've read that rubbing alcohol/water dilution is effective granite cleaner. Is that true? Will it damage the granite in any way? Would like to avoid a commercial product if possible -- many of them irritate my asthma, and even of the ones that don't, I tend to find the fragrances cloying. Oddly enough, Simple Green doesn't bother me, but I don't want to fuss with that for a quick daily wipe-down, I use that for the more serious cleaning.
