This particular shed was designed from our modular prefab panels, then built and installed by our team. All sheds can be customized (you can choose window placement, door style, paint colors, etc). So, it's both off the shelf AND customized! We also have a Do-It-Yourself kit for very small storage sheds OR offer a discount if you want to install it yourself.

It would be super cool to use one of the exterior walls to enclose an outdoor shower - we haven't seen it done yet but with proper foundation and drainage work by your contractor it could be a really neat idea! The siding on our Studio Sheds is hardi board (a cement board) that is water resistant but not necessarily designed to withstand showering water frequently. how insulated are these sheds? Can it be used as a guest house?

Hello viviwong88 - thanks for the question! Studio Sheds are used for a variety of reasons: storage, home office, art studios, family rooms and...yes, guest houses. Check out this guest Studio Shed here: http://www.houzz.com/projects/433211/10x18-guest-bedroom-with-1-2-bath (Studio Shed does not provide plumbing or partition walls - these must be quoted and installed separately by your contractor). Our "Signature Series" Studio Sheds have 2x4 framing which, when insulated, have an R-value of R-13. We offer the option to upgrade to 2x6 framing which will offer an R-value of R-21.
